To service all manner of couples and families that call Tullimbar their home, the proposed Shellharbour Hospital will offer expanded emergency services, increased surgical capacity, rehabilitation and aged care, acute care, mental health services, renal dialysis, out-patient facilities and ambulatory care. The Health Minister also unveiled plans to expand capacity at Bulli and Wollongong hospitals, and to build a new community health facility at Warrawong.

Concurrent to these developments, the recently completed and newly opened Albion Park Bypass is an upgrade to the existing Princes Highway. Transport for NSW is building an extension of the Motorway between Yallah and Oak Flats to bypass Albion Park rail - completing the ‘missing link’ for a high standard road between Sydney and Bomaderry. The $630 million project is funded by the NSW Government, demonstrating a consistent investment in making the Illawarra region increasingly accessible and desirable.
